The USPG stand in the Greenbelt Takeaway in 2017 had a focus on climate justice, with a special interactive model showing the impact of rising sea levels in Tonga.
Visitors to the stand were also able pick up a free copy of our climate justice advocacy pack to help them and their church join with the world church in tackling this important issue.
We also hosted the Most Revd Dr Winston Halapua, of Polynesia, who spoke throughout the Greenbelt weekend.
Archbishop Winston delivered this hard-hitting message about climate change, for which he drew from experience of seeing islands in Polynesia disappearing under rising sea levels.
