Set up your Facebook Fundraiser

Creating a fundraiser on Facebook is a great way to raise vital funds for our partner churches across the world. Whether it’s your birthday, a special anniversary or even a sponsored walk just follow our step-by-step guide below to starting your fundraiser.

Steps to set up your Facebook Fundraiser

1. Open the USPG Facebook page either in a browser or on the Facebook app
2. Choose the ‘Raise Money’ under the create a fundraiser section
3. Add in how much you would like to raise (it will default to £150 but you can change this to any amount you would like)
4. Choose an end date for your fundraiser
5. Add in why you would like to fundraiser for USPG
6. Choose a photo from the USPG gallery that you would like to use
7. Click ‘Create’

Our top tips to make the most of your Facebook Fundraiser

1. Let people know why you’re fundraising for USPG and the difference it’ll make to our partner Churches worldwide
2. Share your fundraiser to your newsfeed more than once – not everyone will see it the first time you share it
3. Let your friends and family know how thankful you are for their support by thanking each donor under their donation on your fundraiser

When your Facebook Fundraiser ends the money will automatically come to USPG.
