A short instructional film showing how to make rotis - Indian wholemeal unleavened bread.
This film shows the breadth of work undertaken by Us-partner the Delhi Brotherhood Society, among some of the poorest communities in the city. Inspired by and founded upon prayer and worship, DBS works to empower women, educate children, provide vocational skills training and work for justice. This is faith in action.
This film shows a day in the life of Kiran and Asha, who run a women’s helpline set up by the Delhi Brotherhood Society (DBS). The 24-hour helpline supports women in danger or distress, either in their own homes, at work or if attacked or harassed in the street. DBS also provides shelter and counselling, and runs Women’s Community Councils, which are community hearings held to discuss relationship disputes.
