In a promising new initiative, church leaders and theological educators from across seven African provinces met this month (November, 2022) to discuss the future of theological education in Africa.
The coming together of conference delegates this week provides space to reflect theologically on the impact of submerged land, displaced people and climate refugees, and to think together how to respond.
An international summit on ‘The Future of Theological Education’ is being held in Botswana’s capital, Gaborone, hosted by the Anglican Church. The culmination of months of sustained conversation and creative thinking with our partners in the region, USPG is proud and delighted to be organising the event.
